About Emiliano Hernandez Posada
Founder, builder, and author of Singularity.
Hey!
I'm Emiliano Hernandez Posada.
I was born in Medellín, Colombia and I am currently living in the U.S.
What I'm Building
I bought my first investment property, a burnt-down house that was foreclosed by the bank, the day I turned 18 (I had to delay closing until my signature would be legally binding on the closing documents). I stuck with real estate and founded Sunshine Lux Rentals with my brother, which was eventually sold to a private equity fund in 2024.
Today, I'm leading Singularity Technologies a venture-backed company that is developing intelligence tools to bring transparency to inefficient industries such as land and manufacturing. Singularity, through Terra is also developing a portfolio of unique hospitality offerings that are impact-forward and generating value and economic growth for rural communities.
I'm also a Partner at The Vesta Group, a private equity firm where I lead the land acquisitions business.
We have partnered with one of the largest residential land buyers in the U.S and are investing in subdivisions and commercial land.
I strive to live an optimized life of balance, excellence, and autonomy, where my authentic curiosity and cultivated skills help me pursue unique, impactful ventures that position me to build equity and invest in the success of others.
Where I've Worked
Professionally, I've had the chance to contribute in some unexpected places.
I worked as a VSFS Intelligence Analyst Intern and AI Development Intern at the Department of War, where I developed a prompt engineering guide for military intelligence analysts and senior defense officials.
At JPMorgan, I worked with the Municipal Securities group, building internal tools and developing a tracker to provide early indication of spiking unemployment levels across the U.S.
At SpaceX, I'm proud to say I played a small part in helping the team connect over 6 million students and 40,000 impact sites with Starlink. I implemented auditing systems and worked on connectivity projects, including one that connected 751 health facilities in Zambia.
At, Goldman Sachs, I am in the private equity investing team, evaluating billion dollar multi-fund infrastructure secondaries and co-investment opportunities.
Why This Blog Exists
I don't know what the future holds, and I've tried to stop thinking so much about it, instead, I just work on things that interest me.
I've always tended to write down and organize my notes and projects. This space is where I share my thoughts (organized as memos) and tools I've built along the way.
